But the majority of the message preach in church is a milk kind of word that are meant only for the new convert. The convert cannot understand the meat kind of word for it is meant only for those that are in service of God. The mature Christian is the only one that is serving in the vineyard of God. If you are mature, you will be placed in ministry. It is the meat kind of word that can make the believer to resist the devil in all its attack. It is in the church where the sacrifices are being made either by lip or by heart to the God of the church. The meat kind of word comes only when the people had grown beyond the state of the milk. The milk is for baby Christian (fresh convert) while the meat is for mature Christian. It takes those that are mature to distinguish between milk words from meat kind of word. And I say also unto thee, that thou art Peter, and upon this rock I will build my church; and the gates of hell shall not prevail against it (Mat 16:18). The building of the church takes place on the rock. The church level is the starting point in the perfection of any believer. Spiritual foundations are being laid in the church and it is on the mountain where the spiritual maturity begins. Many of the secret of the lord are being exposed on the mountain (matthew 17; 1).
Now, rock is where the church is built to the image of Christ. Many of the revelation are being unveiled on the mountain. Mountain is where you meet God alone for communionship and fellowship. Rock as it is where the hard message is being gotten and a baby Christian cannot comprehend it. This explains the reason why the parables spoken of by Jesus are not being understood by the multitude. From that [time] many of his disciples went back, and walked no more with him ((John 6:66)). Multitude dwells in the church but disciples are made on the mountain. Church cannot withstand temptation because they are not incubated on the mountain.
The mountain is where God desire that we should be at all time. God is waiting for most of us on the mountain but majority are not available to listen to the word of God. The word He spoke to us is spirit and life so He wants us to become spirit and give life to others through our experience on the mountain.
